Congregation
We are a modern and Orthodox congregation committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming environment for Jews of all backgrounds to come together in a community of prayer, learning and fellowship. Recognizing that acquiring knowledge of laws and traditions is the essence of Judaism, the Chabad - Aleph House emphasizes education and participation in services and seeks to work with and contribute to the entire Jewish community of Columbia.
Visitors are always so delighted to see how involved we are and how we not only have knowledge but more importantly, how we seek the same. We are not just a congregation; we are also a family.

Location
The brand new Chabad/Aleph House is located at 2509 Decker Blvd, in Forest Acres. The Chabad/Aleph House is currently where we pray and will soon be a beautiful facility including the only "Jewish Chaplains Museum" in the country. It will also host a large social hall for all events. Services at the new location include Shabbat and Yom Tov (Holiday) Services, all Jewish life cycle events, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Brit Mila (Circumcisions), baby namings and weddings.
Dues & Membership
Family Membership: $1,500
Associate Membership: $1,100
Executive Membership: $3,000
We recognize that there are those families that are in a position to give more and do, and there are families that need to give a bit less and do. We ask you to do what you can to help us meet our expenditures in order to continue to prosper and grow.
